Häringe Slott
In Västerhaninge, 40 minutes south of Stockholm you will find Häringe Castle.
Spoil yourself during a weekend, have a great castle dinner, stroll around on the estate and enjoy the beautiful surroundings or just sleep late and spend as much time as you can in your room.
I visited the hotel during the Swedish fall and choose to stay in one of the different types of suites. The suite consisted of a bedroom with a large double bed, a living room, a large bathroom with jacuzzi and a private patio. The suite was named after the exotic dancer and jazz singer Josephine Baker, who has previously stayed in the there.
At the castle you will find both a tennis court, a sauna, Sweden's oldest bowling alley and Sweden's first outdoor swimming pool. The pool may only be used by overnight guests.
I would love to visit Häringe Castle soon again.

This is one of the better castles I visited in Sweden, look forward to visiting Häringe during the summer to try out the outdoor pool. 4/5.
