Hotel Ambre

My first trip outside of Europe was to Mauritius and the Ambre Hotel. My interest in travel doubled after this amazing trip and I will certainly visit the island again.

 

The hotel is located on the north-eastern part of the island in the Belle Mare area. It's an all-inclusive resort and the food is great. The rooms are big and comfortable and the beaches at the hotel are amongst the nicest I have ever seen.

 

Since my last visit, major renovation has been undertaken at Ambre.

  • Great beach activities like soccer, volleyball, sailing or snorkeling

  • The reef in the area has had big problems with rising water temperatures, and most corals were dead, we may hope that this has improved since my last stay.
