The most important thing when choosing a room at Waldorf is to select the "Skyline view". Palm, Sea or Burj al Arab view is far from the feeling you get with a King Deluxe room, skyline view.

Have an afternoon tea at Burj al Arab, and let the hotel's Bentley or Helicopter take you there, if you do, be prepared to spend a lot of cash ;)

Plan ahead when leaving for the airport, everything from rush hour to parades can stop the traffic, and there is only one way from the hotel to the airport, ask the staff when it is the best time for you to leave
